Formed in September 2023, Cantabile is an auditioned, a capella choir, created to serve singers from high school through retirement who wish to do a variety of interesting, predominantly sacred, historic repertoire.
Our members are dedicated to musical excellence and share a passion for creating beautiful harmonies together. We strive to bring enriching choral experiences to the Hampton Roads community through our performances.
Suzanne Wolvin holds a Master of Music Education with an emphasis in choral conducting and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Old Dominion University. She is an adjunct professor of music at Tidewater Community College, serves as Music Director at St. Alban's Anglican Church in Chesapeake, and sings soprano with the Virginia Symphony Chorus.
Cantabile is always looking for talented singers to join our ensemble. We seek vocalists who have good musicianship, sight-reading abilities, previous choral experience, and a passion for sacred and historical choral music.
